I've always had a problem with Adobe Reader and Firefox frequently 'quitting unexpectedly' ever since I first got my 1st gen MBA (1.8/64GB SSD). Firefox is less frequent, but Adobe Reader reliably quits within a minute or two of opening a document. This is a problem, because I use PDF a lot. I always thought this was something that was specific to my installation, since I never saw anything about it in the threads. So this weekend I finally decided to reinstall OSX.
And voila, I still have the same problem. Does anyone else have this issue? Were you able to fix it? Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried reinstalling, but have not had any luck. It hasn't crashed within the last few minutes I started using it today and there was nothing in the crash reporter folder. I'll look again when it happens again. How do you repair permissions?

Acrobat Pro DC is a great example, and it supports both Windows and Mac devices. The software allows you to create, edit and convert PDF files with ease. The software allows you to create, edit.
In general, I find that while Preview works nicely for simple documents, things like digital signatures and Adobe Acrobat modifications do not show up correctly. If there are people sending you documents modified in this way, it is a FREQUENT problem. I also noticed that this was moved from the MBA forum. I have a iMac at work and a Mini at home.
But the only computer that has these problems is the MBA. I am having the same problem with Adobe Reader 9.0. I install it, load it up, agree to the terms and then it promptly crashes. I am downloading and trying to read some pdfs that include foreign characters (Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana) and preview displays them as squares, so it is not something I can view in preview.
